Trois ans après la sortie de son morceau Monotonium, Substep Infrabass est de retour chez F4T avec la compilation Monotonium Remixes. Le truc cool, c’est qu’il a soigneusement choisi son répertoire avec des membres tels Be-1ne, Egoless, King Slaff, m3t4 et Vishnu qui se sont appliqués à la tâche. Chaque producteur a retravaillé le morceau à sa façon, en gardant sa mélancolie et sa lourdeur, tout en le rendant encore plus profond.

Une fois unis, ces remixes forment un EP complètement dingue, un voyage de 40 minutes à travers l’univers de “Mono-tonium”, un voyage vers le halfstep, le dub et l’ambiant. Be-1ne et Crisis ouvrent avec des beats dubstep, en gardant le côté profond et chaud dans un style propre à l’Angleterre. Egoless suit avec des vibrations dub écrasantes de l’est, tandis que m3t4 nous emmène encore plus loin dans l’experimental drum’n’bass. Une fois arrivés, vous écouterez le son de King Slaff pour un moment unique et rafraichissant d’ambiant music. Vishnu vous attend à la surface pour clore l’événement avec un prototype dubstep ; alliant les sonorités mutantes/robotiques avec un son en béton.

Three years after the release of his original tune “Monotonium”, Substep Infrabass is back on F4T with the compilation “Monotonium (Remixes)”. The cool thing is, he took care of the A&R and got fellow producers Be-1ne, Crises, Egoless, King Slaff, m3t4 and Vishnu involved. Each producers approached the original track in his own way, keeping it soulfull and massive while driving the sound even deeper.

Once crafted together, these remixes form an amazing EP, a forty minutes journey into the universe of “Mono- tonium”, a journey about halfstep bass music, dub and ambient . Be-1ne and Crisis open with dubstep beats, keeping it deep and warm in a proper Uk style. Egoless follows with stomping dub vibes from the East while m3t4 takes you literally deeper into experimental drum and bass. Down there you will listen to the sound of King Slaff for a singular and refreshing moment of ambient music. Vishnu waits for you at the surface to close the events with a dubstep prototype; allying mutant bass drones with concrete sounds.
